BIO
Brianna Cymeran Borst (b. 1996, California) is a dreamer, an admirar of various art forms, and a Mexican-American artist who explores a wide range of mediums. From watercolors to oils, to printmaking inks to pastels, to digital photography to film, Borst does not believe in limiting her creativity to make art.
Borst holds a BFA in Studio Arts (with an emphasis in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking) from Southern Utah University and plans to future her education in the future. She currently is located in Utah and would like to travel the world to experience more cultures and learn from other artists and their environments. Borst has participated in exhibitions in galleries located at Snow College (Ephraim, UT) and contributed works at Southern Utah Museum of Art (Cedar City, UT).
Borst's current work explores Mexican heritage, traditional practices, and her reflections of being of mixed-race. As she shares her work, she hopes her story and thoughts can help and impact those like herself and give a voice to those who are not given one with the chance they may gain hope and courage.
